I saw the new tutorial by Jenny D from MSQC this afternoon and fell in love with that project! Jenny created a bunch of carrots for an Easter basket from scraps that were so cute and lightning fast to create! Here is the link

Of course I didn't have the wedge ruler but wanted to get started today. In other words.. I didn't have time to order the ruler! I tried to figure out the size by folding a 10" piece of paper.. after a few mis folds... I googled, 'measurements for the large wedge ruler' and up came our wonderful Quilters Message board with the answer from just a few months ago!! I followed the directions in the discussion and set to work. I now have a temporary template and will be happily stitching myself a bushel of carrots for an Easter basket display.
Seriously, we have everything on this board, how fortunate are we?? Thanks everyone for posting... everything about Quilting on here!!

I, too, love this Board! I have learned so much here. I'll bet your carrots turn out lovely. I enjoyed Jenny's video. I am so glad you can make the carrots and not have to wait to get a wedge ruler.

I just watched the carrot video, how easy are they to sew up? I wonder if Jenny sleeps at night? She comes up with so many wonderful things to sew. Thanks for sharing, might have missed this one.
