Default Singer Curvy - opportunity ?!

I'm embarrassed to say that as much as I've sewn in my life I've never heard of a Singer Curvy. That is, until now. I've been offered one for $75.00 that is all serviced & everything but have no clue as to it's worth. Also can anyone give me an idea of how it's rated as a machine? I need to see her today if I want to accept the opportunity. Help me PLEASE!

I believe there are 2 Singer Curvys currently being sold...Check out singerco.com for all the features...the lower end one can be purchased new for around 199.00 on sale at a Joanns or the Viking Galleries inside a Joann's store...

here's a link on the singer site http://www.singerco.com/products/1508/8763-curvy
    and here's amazon http://www.amazon.com/SINGER-8763-Co.../dp/B0027DLWS2

if your machine is in great condition, i'd say it's a great price

I think the curvy models get good ratings, check out amazon because some singers don't get good ratings and some do. The price seems decent

Thanks for the info & help. After I talked to the woman that had it I was able to get it for a little less. It's an 8730 & she had gotten it to sew blue jeans purses & found after one use that it wasn't the machine for the job. It has the manual & case looks just like new.
