Does anyone own a bobbin tension guage? If so, is it worth the price? TIA

I have the Towa guide and I do use it. I think it is a great tool!

I follow the directions for my machine on checking the bobbin tension. I don't need this.

I have one that I picked up for next to nothing and I use it when I service my machines. I also have the gauge for the top tension so I can get it set right the first time.

Are they necessary......not really but it makes life a lot easier when your servicing them for others so you can set it right the first time and you can make sure the tesioners and the spring on the bobbin case is working proper.
