Don't forget paper piecing. My local library has several paper piecing books with great spiral patterns. Have fun.

I have a book I recently purchased from Amazon... called... Simply Amazing Spiral Quilts by RaNae Merrill.... haven't had the chance to make one yet ...

Look at the one that Kitsie put the link to...it's pretty much a round log cabin.

As you can see by all the answers above, there are a lot of spiral quilt patterns. Which one are you looking for?

Funny... I have not been checking in lately as I have been really overwhelmed and busy. I saw a name of a book I wanted by Cheryl Phillips so was over on her website before I came here. I have used her method for a mariner's compass and was wanting something dif. for another round robin I am joining after the New Year. Her stuff is awesome. I think I have to go order some of her new tools. The spiral stuff is intriguing--the wedge ruler has a couple of patterns. I have done a tree skirt using a 10 degree ruler--in fact I made 4 of them. Lot of work but worth it.
