I think the 2 key points are to spray lightly and let it dry before sewing.

Spraying from the edge towards the center helps minimize overspray too.

Thank you all for this very interesting thread. I have never heard of this before and you can bet I am going to try it real soon.

Just had my teeth cleaned and my dental hygienist is having her baby in two weeks or there about. I better hurry up and make her a baby quilt. I'll be sure to wash it before I give it to her.

What laundry soap do you use for washing baby things?

I use one of the detergents with no perfumes or dyes for all my laundry, including baby quilts. ALL free, Tide free or the one from Costco. Just depends on where I'm shopping.

Thanks, I am using the Costco brand that has no dyes, scents or anything. Great I won't have to buy anything special to wash it. Thanks for the answer.

I got my dad an email machine (email only, not a computer) when he was in his 80s. He used to sign his emails like that. We lost him this spring at the ripe old age of 99. Thanks for the sweet memory.

Don't spray around a tile floor. I thought it would just wipe up. It gummed up and for months I would find little gummy spots. Live and learn.
