    Those are lovely, I have got to get some black fabric and try some of these. Would they do for preteen and teen boys donation quilts? Those are the hardest to make for me.

    I really like the block but it's not the SnW that was created by Bethany Reynolds. It is the kaleidoscopic image I think of when I hear or read that term.

    Yes did this method and just love it! Fun and fast to do. I used charm pack that I had no idea what to do with. Now the top has turned into a UFO just waited to be quilted and given away or used by me. WOW novel idea. Quilt for ME?

    I just love the black..
