Interesting how Dawn can be use to remove spilled crude oil safely from birds. Is this safe for all fabrics?? Thanks for the post.
A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
How about is it safe for humans? I have used Dawn for years. No gloves and hot hot water. Wondering!?
I've been using Dawn since it first came out. I use it for a lot of stain removal. I really like the Resolve Stain remover by Dawn also. I don't scrub though, I just rub it in a little and let it set for a short time. I like to let them set while I do a different load.
Great info to have, thanks for sharing! I like that it is things that most of us already have, don't have to go searching!
If a woman's work is never done....why start?
I was just reading on facebook this morning that classic coke is very good on removing stains including blood stains I would test on the fabric first I do know it works wonders on grease stains as I had a fry daddy spill on a kitchen carpet an after pouring a can of coke on it and cleaning with water my carpet came out looking new and the stain never did come back
I keep a bottle of club soda in my pantry at all times to remove stains such as wine, etc.
Blue dawn is also safe and good for flea bath on dogs and cats.
