I have this picture of "the Vanishing Star" quilt in my collection, but I can not find the pattern. Has anyone come across it?

I think that is a Judy Nieneyer design, paper pieced.

Every time I see this, I wonder about toning down the diamond shapes, and making the "peacock feather" looking pieces stand out :D:D:D

This same quilt was discussed in another thread where someone was looking for the pattern. Here is a link to that thread http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-68889-1.htm

I don't believe that any one ever found a source for the pattern, but did find a guild that the person that made the quilt is from. I didn't see anything more posted about the other person making contact and finding out more information about a pattern.

It is not Agave Garden and I didn't find it on quiltworx.com There were some similar style quilts, but not that one. IF someone finds it please post a link.
