    Default sew sew sewn out!!!

Yesterday I spent from like 10 am till 4 pm sewing blocks together at a church function they were nine patch blocks that we had people design who stopped at our booth. the blocks when sewn together were going to be around 7 1/2" I ended up sewing like 28 of them and have probably another dozen more to go. enough for propbaly three throw sized quilts with sashing. We did them in red white and blue fabrics and they came out really nice. not sure which organization we will be donating them too but one of the miliatry type places. va or vfw or active duty who know. I am all sewn out though. in a couple of days i need to finish up sewing the blocks. bleh.... anyone else ever feel this way?

I will be feeling this way very soon. I have to sew 2 2.5" squares onto the corners of 5" squares for an Xs and Os quilt. I think there are at least 200 to do. This is not going to be my favorite part of doing this quilt. But, I really want to do it, so will just have to plug away at it. It does sound like your sewing was for a worthy cause though.

Check out Quilts of Valor. They give quilts to wounded holders. I know there is a chapter in Houston, Tx. Probably be able to find one if you Google!!!
