    Here's a very similar one called "Don't be such a square". I got it off a board years ago. It has a little 3D effect due to the white strips being cut 1 1/2" and the patterns/colors being cut 2". Each block finishes out at 12". The little center squares are cut at 2 1/2 "
    You can decide the size you want adding more or less blocks and rows.
    Easy, peasy beginner quilt.

    If you want to do a variation on the square, you can do some squares and some rectangles. I did a top a year or 2 ago for my sister. It looks like the rectangles are twice the size of the squares. I can look up the measurements if you're interested. Plus, you need fewer pieces with the rectangles :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

    Here is a link to a tutorial bevanger did on this board. It is for wonky blocks and you can do them in any size. Take a look. Hope it helps.
