Stick on LED Machine Lights
I was surfing through Leah Day's website & saw this stick on strip of 6 LED lights that is supposed to affix to your machine. Here's the link: http://leahday.com/collections/shop/.../sewing-lights
I'm not sure if there are better options out there -- if so, please share! I do have tons of super bright LED lights in my studio space but sometimes that produces shadows where my fabric goes through the machine so I was thinking that perhaps this might be an option. I currently have a Bernina 350 that does come with built in LED's but they're just not bright enough as far as I'm concerned.
Has anyone tried these stick-on lights or something similar? Do they come off easily if I need to bring my machine in for repair? Will they re-stick to machine once removed? Will it in any way mar my machine? Any info at all would be really appreciated!
Thanks!
Bree

I'd love to get LED lights for my machine!
When you attach those lights, don't stick them on any cracks or seams in the sewing machine body. When we service the machine, we'll need to take the machine apart on those cracks, and it may ruin your set-up.
The sticky stuff can be removed with a little WD-40 on a rag.

I bought mine a couple of years ago from Inspired LED before they started selling them as a kit. They are awesome! They are the most worthwhile "gadget" that I've spent money on.

This is the one I have and I love it. I bought the 2-machine kit.
