My pattern calls for heavy iron facing but could I use lite or iron pellon I used for my bow tuck which I have on hand?
    Thanks Gale

Joann's has a "heavy" interfacing that's in between Pellon and true interfacing. It bends but is plenty stiff. I think that might work. It's 4.99 a yard if that helps you determine which one it was.

If you are near a Walmart that has a fabric and craft department, look for Decor-Bond or Craft Bond. It is fusible but not thick and you can sew thru it without much difficulty. I use it in Totes and I find it makes a very nice bag.
