Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Since your machine sits on a table, don't forget to sit up high so you look down on the quilt. If you don't have an office chair, sit on a pillow or two. You'll have better control over whatever you do.
I tried stitching next to the seam and used my presser foot as the guide on one of the quilts. It still pulled and got the tiny stitches. I really believe when I'm brave enough to try it again, if I have my quilt supported and change my thread tension, I might have a better outcome. For this Christmas, the four quilts I made have been tacked. They are beautiful quilts...just with little strings everywhere!
