I have a janome 2010 and was wondering what was the best stitch length when quilting?

Thanks,

I just use the standard size stitch that is programed into the machine. Oh, I guess I should mention that I use the walking foot and I've never had a problem. That is the way I learned from a teacher many years ago.

i always lengthen the stitch a bit to accommodate the extra thickness. The standard stitch on a machine is probably set for two layers of regular fabric.
