My feelings exactly! I feel guilty at not burying knots but know I probably wouldn't machine quilt at all if I had to do it for all thread ends. So I just take stitches and feel like less of a perfectionist!

I try to do the "knot and bury" method but if I am in a time crunch, will do the tiny stitches.

I do the tiny stitches--haven't tried the knot and bury technique yet.

I am pretty much a self-taught quilter, and I would just backstitch when starting and stopping, and even when I took classes, none of the instructors suggested that you would bury the knots.
