Does anyone have any good solutions for storing rulers? I don't want them packed away in a cupboard. I saw a ruler holder at the quilt store but it was $25 and that seemed pricey I'd like them to be handy and accessible.

I bought the slotted ruler holders at Joann's but I used a 50% coupon for both (at separate times) and then I used my 15% off teacher's discount. Another friend said they like to use the kitchen plate stackers they found at the dollar store. Hope it helps!

I asked this same questions a while back and so many people had great suggestions. However, I got to scheming with my dad (he's a transplant patient and needs to keep himself busy) If I can figure out how to post a picture, I'll show you the drawing of what he's working on for me.

Maybe I am just too simple.. I just put some nails in the wall by where I use them and I hang them from the nails.. they are right there and I can see them. But I only have 5 rulers of different sizes. So maybe people have more than that, I do not know.

I have a peg board hung up and hang my rulers and my stencils on hooks from the peg board. Because I built a frame then attatched the peg board I have a ledge on top of the peg board to set my one ruler that doesn't have a hole for hanging.
The peg board also has hooks and hangers that I use to store my scissors, rotary cutters and other hangable items. Saves space.

I have them hanging on the side of a cabinet that is not in full view. I use nice nails and the holes in the rulers. I didn't want to use my table space as storage for them, although I love the look of some of the wooden holders!
