    Strata Star tips

I got my pattern in the mail today for the Strata Star and I am going to head to Joann's tomorrow to take advantage of the sale and pick out my fabric. For those of you who have made the pattern before are there any good tips or tricks that you can pass along. Thanks !!

Starch and handle the bias edges carefully so they don't stretch. If it is the pattern I am thinking of, be careful not to use red as the inner strip of the triangle. I used a pink so it wasn't too noticeable but it resembled a swatika. It was all done before I noticed it so I keep a plant in the center of my table topper.

I love this pattern, and like many other things, I just never get around to it! You have given me the push I needed, I am going to start one. I think I am going to use the gradient material I have, hope it works out.
