Hi, Jeannie. I've really been wanting to learn paper piecing, too. I did take a class (sort of) a few years back, but ended up more confused than anything. Just yesterday I ordered Konstantin's Paper Piecing Basics e-book. I may have been able to find something cheaper, but I really like their pic's and how they explain every step (plus I don't mind helping out the board). I read it last night and am ready to try my hand at it tonight after work.

I know there have also been tutorials and discussions here on the board. Everyone is so helpful here, that I'm sure you'll not have a problem finding what you want. Good Luck!

You can also go to Carol Doak's web site and she has patterns there that are simple and also instructions on how to are on the net. I hope this helps. I would send you web site but for some reason I don't do it right so would do you no good anyway lol... But as nice and helpful as all the ladies are on this board I am sure there are some here that know how to do it and will help you. But I like you, after taking a class got confused. This site and a friend straighten me out and I am going like a house a fire. Am making a full size quilt of nothing but pping. I don't know how I am going to put it together, but I am making blocks  So don't give up its fun.

Rita

Hi Jeannie
Go to Caroldoak.com She has a great website and also a yahoo group. You can get free patterns and lots of info. I also use her foundation paper. It's really a lot of fun.

I just realized that the double wedding ring quilt I have pictured is a paper piece quilt! I get my patterns off the internet for free at various places.

Carol Doak gives great instructions and has a DVD you can purchase that gives step by step instructions.

I think this is the site Rita might be talking about.
