I think you got it with your last arrangement.

Don't get me wrong, I like the blue floral and have actually used that same fabric in a project, but you're right that it overwhelms and detracts from the focal point, which is your embroideries.

I think your final choice is just right.

I would use the dark pink from the left side with the floral pink from the right side and toss out the blue floral and the pale pink. Hope she loves it whatever you decide!

I thought originally the blue would work as a shabby chic look but for me it just doesn't, in person it just seems to take over the wallhanging, as well as the bright pink. So someone suggested I try something with the pale and bright pink. So here is what I came up with, just a peek of the darker pink, seems to make it recess more... hopefully...
This one is the winner!! Delicate looking.

I think the fabrics on the left make the embroidered blocks POP.

I pick the left side also. The right side is too bland

Well, you asked for opinions and you sure are getting them! I'd use the dark pink instead of the pale pink on the right. Or I'd find a less busy aqua choice for the left side choice. Love the embroidery.

Oh, sorry, I hadn't read the whole thread when I posted. Yes, I like the last photo.
