Struggling with fabric choices.... Mom's 90th quilt HELP!

I am still struggling with fabric choices for my Mom's 90th Quilted wallhanging. I tossed aside my previous choice of a layer cake I had chosen and went in another direction. I like the fabric I have chosen for the first round of sashing.. I feel it compliments the embroideries very well.
I am stuck as to where to go from there.
The photos show the fabrics (on left of block) that I had chosen for the remaining sashings around the embroideries.
My question is; Do the fabrics on the left side overwhelm the embroidered panel by being too bright... or do they enhance it?? Unfortunately, in the embroideries the dresses all had to be shades of pink because I couldn't match any embroidery thread to that shade of sea blue/pale aqua in the sashing strip, if my life depended on it. The shades of pink in the dresses match the shades of pink in the blue/aqua sashing strip. On the right side I added a pale pink then repeated the first sashing strip around the embroideries. I feel it totally washes out the entire thing!!
I would love your opinion, I am stuck!! Thank you sew much for your help!

I love the colors on the left. The pastel pink just washes out.

I agree that the blue strip in the sashing is great!

I'll be the odd one out. I don't care for the blue. I think you can use the darker pink, but pair it with something that is a closer value or intensity to the other sashing fabrics you have going on.

I also don't care for the blue. I would only use the darker pink. JMHO
