Default Studio 2 Fabric Cutter

Those of you that have this, are you happy with it? Did you upgrade from your GO? I have the GO, but am thinking about upgrading. It says that you can cut 10 layers of fabric with the studio. Is this only with the studio dies or will it cut 10 layers with the GO die? Their chat session was closed and I wanted to know sooner. Thanks for your info.

the studio will cut 10 layers of a medium weight fabric.
thicker fabrics ... 8 at a time is most wise.

when using Go! dies, the max of 4 still applies.
i am very glad i invested in the studio vs. the Go!
i can use both types of dies on the studio, but not on the Go!

I have a Studio, but I bought the raggedy flannel block for the Go! to see if I'd really like it. I can only cut two layers of flannel at a time, so it's pretty time consuming (although it does eliminate the need for snipping the seams, which counts for a lot). I did find it sort of dismaying to only be able to cut a few layers after getting used to cutting so many more at a time with the Studio dies. Hope that helps some!
