    Default Studio drunkards path die

has anyone here used the studio drunkard's path die. I bought one a year ago but have not used it yet. Is it easy to sew? I would love to see pictures of any that anyone has made. I have not found much on the internet.

Try joining the accucutquilters group at groups.yahoo.com . There are probably pictures of quilts made using the drunkards path die in their photo section.

Yes, I have the studio die and it works just fine. there are registration points to match up the two sections when you sew them together. There is no reason to purchase the curvemaster foot. I did, just to see how well it works, and found out that the blocks were just as easy to sew with a regular quarter inch foot. So I say save your money, use your normal foot.

I don't have the drunkard's path die, but I do have the Winding Ways. I agree with Sandyms. There is a notch that helps you match the middle of the curves. I did not need a special foot.

I have the Go drunkard path die in two sizes. I'm like you, I haven't used them yet. LOL. I have the curve master foot and it's nice for sewing curves. At first I thought it wasn't working but it was just me. After learning how to use it correctly it sews perfect curves, I don't pin.
