The reason it's called a boomerang swap is because everyone send something out and everyone gets something back that's made from their own fabric. I think the boom(erang) swaps are fun.

SewBiz...thanks so much for not only the explanation, but the link to the photos as well. Wow! This looks like something I may have to consider joining at some point....it looks like a great amount of fun.
