Smile machine quilting using plush 100% polyester as backing

Target had a sale on plush blankets. I saw a perfect color match for my quilt top. I have washed and dried the blanket and cut the blanket to quilt back size. After cutting , there was lots of fuzz, so I placed it in the dryer to de-fuzz .
I don't plan to use batting, just the quilt top and plush blanket. The Blanket (quilt back) will be next to the feed dogs, as I stitch in the ditch. I know the blanket has stretch and will create fuzz against the feed dogs (My 2 concerns).
SHOULD I PIN TEAR-A -WAY STABILIZER TO THE BLANKET SO THE FABRIC WON'T STRETCH AND FEED DOGS WON'T GET FUZZED? Any ideas ? THANKS, COPYCAT

I used a cheap minky on the back of a quilt - lots of stretch and fuzz everywhere when I cut it... I used spray baste so it was glued to the top when I quilted it. The top kept it from stretching too much. The fuzz wasn't much of a problem other than right where I cut it, and since I wasn't quilting right on the edges didn't pose a problem. Not sure pinning a stretchy back would work very well since it will stretch and shift around the pins.
