Hi - here's my first hexagon project...just would like some ideas for finishing. I'm learning all kinds of things, so am willing to either hand quilt, fmq or straight line, but cant decide on the design part-LOL.
This a free pattern from Moda Bake Shop and is 26x46 inches
thanks for any ideas

I think you could stitch in the ditch.Start at one side sew to the other side.Connie in CO

I agree, stitch in the ditch on the hexagon part. It is so beautiful that the linear quilting design would not take away from the over all hexagons and star pattern. In the floral border, I would maybe go with something like a half feather out from the turquoise strip? Lovely!

I would probably outline the blocks. It's really cute, I love the colors you chose.
