My DD just bought a new Hamilton Beach. I know it's inexpensive but it's a great steam iron. Heavy enough to press well and yet light enough to not wear you out. It does not have a non-stick ironing surface and we like it much better than a non-stick. I think it was about $49 bucks at Wal-Mart.
Families are like old quilts....although they tend to unravel at times...each can be stitched back together with love.

My DD just bought a new Hamilton Beach steam iron at Wal-Mart for about $49 and it's a really great iron. No non-stick soulplate which we like better. Heavy enough to press very well but not so heavy that it wears you out. I know it's not high priced but it sure does a good job for the price.
