Love the design of the quilt, you did a great job. I also think the plastic is a good idea, then you can see what looks good to yoou.

Often just a simple overall "Pantograph" design (same design row upon row on your top) will make your
Top really "pop" ... And is usually within capability of the "mid-arm machine quilter's expertise , plus being very economical Compared to professional Long Arm services.

I love the quilt!
Tessagin, I must say thank you for sharing your neighbor's "on the bank" term, as I often do my quilting like that (especially around applique)...and I now have a term to can it.
I wish I had ideas for you on the quilting, but I often have the same issue...how do I quilt this now??

If you would like you could contact us and we could discuss some digital designs on our computerized LA that would enhance your quilt. Using a finer (not shiny) thread would give texture without detracting from your piecing.

Please let us know what you decided and please post a finished picture. I just finished a quilt top in the same pattern. I have been searching for quilting ideas.
