I'm doing a swap in another group. I just realized one of the items required is a pattern for a spring garden item. This is a quilting group, but most of us also do sewing items, so I imagine anything would do. I'm out of ideas!

I always think of crocus and daffodils and of course the red breasted robin. If you have an embroidery machine there are endless patterns for spring.

when you say spring "garden" item do they want something you actually would use or put out in the garden..like a sign, or an apron maybe???

How about a sunbonnet?
If it is a quilt block you need, Sunbonnet Sue.
If it is actually a garden item, make a sun hat!

or how about one of those bucket aprons...you know they go around a standard 3gal bucket to hold your tools....handy even if they don't garden!

All these ideas are great. I don't really know what the hostess of group meant; she only said a pattern for a spring graden item. That's why I asked for advice, lol. I'm thinking a bucket apron sounds like a good idea. Now, to find that pattern.....
