Have never heard of making your own suitcase, but I guess it can be done. And it's really cute too.

Here is one I have been saving: http://www.gyctdesigns.com/2014/11/t...ravel-bag.html
    Also: http://birchfabrics.blogspot.com/201...ht-bag-by.html
Then there was a duffle bag: http://www.noodle-head.com/ I downloaded it 1/5/14, did not see a search, but she has some nice things, so if you have time to browse, you will find the bag I am talking about.

There are many other free ones online. Have fun looking!

Thanks for the great websites. Cannot wait to try making one and when I do I will post a picture. I have 7 grandchildren, ages 1-9 and every year for Christmas I make them something special. I have made bean bag chairs, quilts, clothes, dolls, and much more. It is such a nice feeling when my grand kids and my children love the hand made more then the store bought items. If anyone has any other ideas or pics of gifts you have made would love to see them

My friend just finished and has more orders from the GK's for the pillowcase lounge where you sew 3 or 4 pillowcases together, put in the pillows and they have a "mat" to lay in front of TV or take to sleepover.

You can get a lot of ideas on facebook or instagram. There are a lot of people out there making things on their blogs and showing them online. Lots of cute ideas and many tutorials.
