Default Sullivan's basting spray

Has anyone else noticed a big jump in the price for Sullivan's basting spray? I started using it several years back as it seemed to work well and was much less expensive than another type I had tried. But today, even with 40% off coupon at Hancock's, I paid what I think was the full price a couple of years ago. Or does my memory fail me? Anyone have any recommendations for other similar products? Thanks!

I used Sullivan's for awhile, but found that 505 was worth the extra money for me. The best price I found for 505 was at http://www.sewforless.com , I think. The newer Therm-O-Web basting spray is supposed to be very good also, but haven't shopped for that one.

Wow - you are right. I think the last time I bought it it was about $3.00 cheaper if not more. When I ordered it on-line it was on sale and if I ordered over a certain amount it was free shipping so ended up getting 4 or 5 cans. Haven't bought any spray in a couple of years. Keep telling myself that I will try the school glue when this is used up, but now I use it for my machine embroidery, so will have to keep my eyes open for sales.

I very seldom use spray adhesive so I am on my last can of Sullivan. I have had it for many years. Everything now a days seems to be going up in price.

EVERYTHING is going up. You can't even shop around for AccuQuiltGo dies. The company won't allow any dealers to sell cheaper anymore. I could ALWAYS get good buys on dies--no more!!! I used to serf the web and would find wonderful prices. I don't think it is fair. Do we still live in a democracy?

Thanks. They do have excellent price for 505. Am tempted to order a case, but I don't know how long one can keep this. A while, I guess, but how long a while...???

fayeberry, ask them the question. There were a lot of answers to questions there and I learned something after reading them.
