I finished this little quilt this morning. I did try several techinques that were new to me ( as suggested on this post), ended up taking a lot of quilting out. I will practice hearts, flowers and crosshatching on some dog blankets before I do them on a quilt again. I do need to expand/improve my skills. I ended up keeping it simple. My grandaughter is only 2 and will not notice my mistakes. Better done than perfect and ther are no quilt police in my family. I bought enough of these 8 1/2" embroidered blocks to make a quilt for each of my grandaughters, the next one will be better (I keep telling myself). Thanks again to all the gals for your help. Mary

Gorgeous. And the next ones will continue to improve (although they look perfect to me). Everytime I see a "Sue" on this board, I kick myself for procrastinting so much. I really need to get off my duff and get one started. Your quilt is lovely.

It looks lovely to me. Be sure to post the pictures on the PICTURES section as well so others will be able to see/enjoy them.
