    Default Sunshine 16 quilting machine

    I tried the sunshine 16 machine a quilt show on Thursday, nice machine, quilted good. Anyone have this machine? Pros and cons? Thanks!

    Sorry, I haven't heard of that one, but have used the HandiQuilter Sweet 16. If space and/or budget were a major consideration this is what I would have gone with.

    So is it convertable to either move the quilt around, like the Sweet 16, or to use it as a longarm?

    I see they're going to be at the quilt show in Rosemont (Chicago) so I'll be sure to look them up. I've tried the Sweet 16 and the Tiara - loved them both. This one is almost 1/2 the price.

    It's one or the other. When you purchase you decide if you want to use it as a sit down or use it on a frame.

    There is a Yahoo group for both the Sweet 16/Tiara and the Sunshine 16. It would be interesting to sign up for both of them and read through the posts. People are very frank on the groups on both their successes and problems.
