I use it in the bobbin with a spare bobbin case that has a tighter tension. In Janome it's also known as the yellow dot bobbin case.

I use BL on the LA, usually with SoFine on top. Have used to piece with when had a whole bobbin loaded and the bobbin "failed". Did have to adjust tension on machine as very fine and practically disappears! I do have to adjust tension on both LA and DSM.
