Default Sylvias Bridal Sampler

Does anyone know the Era that this quilt was made. I have not read the book, so have no idea. Does the story take place in the late 1800's, or early 1900's? I am making the quilt, and have an idea for setting my blocks togerher, so would appreciate any help. Thankyou in advance.

If I remember correctly, the fictional quilt was made in this time era. Sylvia is written as an older woman in the present time.

To add to this, her bridal sampler quilt was made in the present time to celebrate her new marriage in our time.

I have read the whole series. Sylvia was married twice. Once in the present time and once 50 years ago. I believe the one you are talking about is the current marriage.

Looking through her site, I think you should just email her with your question. As it's a "fictional" series of stories you might find she has a different answer for you. http://elmcreek.net/
