I am just starting a t-shirt quilt and plan to use an iron-on interface on the backs of the shirt fronts to stabilize them. Will the adhesive on the interface cause my needle to gum when I do the quilting?

No. I have worked on one of them, and it does not gum. It stabilizes right away. Use the thinest stabilizer you feel comfortable with so that the quilt doesn't get too stiff. Good luck!!! Would love to see a picture when you're done.

I used a heavy weight interfacing on mine and it was gummy. Use lite weight and you will be fine.
