I have never had any desire to make a T-Shirt quilt but a young friend wants me to make one out of her boys' shirts that are just too cute to toss out. It will be an ongoing project, she said, as they out grow their t-shirts. They are still little guys. Any cute ideas??

I attended my first class for a t-shirt quilt last night. We're using the pattern Quilted to a "T" an easy 1,2,3 t-shirt quilt. By Little Black Dog Quilt Company.

Looks pretty easy. Instructor said the quilting of the quilt will be the toughest part because of the weight of the quilt and then the "appliqued" t-shirts. She recommended maybe having it quilted on a long arm.
