I keep seeing these beautiful quilts in the avatar pictures. Would you please tell me about the pattern, what inspired you, why you chose those colors. Anything you care to share.

Mine started out as a logcabin flower design. I started to set it up and well it had a mind of it's own. I love it and will quilt it once I finish the borders! This was a scrap quilt I used all my favorite colors chocolate brown with pinks reds blues etc. I finished it in 2 days because of the momentum I had with it. It is 90x100 right now.

Mine is called "Twice as Nice" by Glad Creations and It is a queen size quilt I made for my DD#3 when she went away to college. I also made her 6 pillows in 3 different sizes to go along with it.

Mine is "A Dozen Yellow Roses" hand applique and hand quilted. I made it as a kind of reminder of my mother after she passed. (I saw the pattern and immediately thought of her.) This is also the very 1st quilt I put a real binder on, thank god you can't see up close. It hangs in my hall.

Mine is an Eleanor Burns Log Cabin Quilt. I made it as a wedding gift for my grandson and his new wife last year.

Mine is a 3-D Bow Tie quilt that I made for a little girl that has Downs Syndrome, born this last April. It took me four months, but I quilted her tiny handprints, those of her siblings, and words to describe her, as well as her name. She is such a beautiful and special little girl.

My avatar is a wall hanging I have in my sewing room. The center panel came from Clotilda's or Nancy's Notions, I can't remember which, the other quilting panels and fabric I purchased from ebay. There was no pattern, I just made it fit together!!

My avatar is a Christmas Cathedral Window, that I started years ago. It was to be a very small quilt....I used to work on it only during the Christmas season, but haven't touched it in several years.
