Default Thank God for FMQuilters!

Today I took my new PFAFF 4.0 fmq out for a spin. How hard could it be? Just going to echo around the eagles on the attic window quilt I made my husband last year........ I have a whole new respect for those of you who FMQ. Thank goodness I sent my king sized quilt out for a professional job. I would have ruined it. I need TONS of practice!!

Keep practicing! When I started, I ordered a FMQ practice cloth. You should have seem my work. It was absolutely horrible! I continue to practice and am getting much better. I can do almost perfect stitching in straight lines and around objects and designs; but I have yet to master stippling. I'm working on it though. I can do lots of Leah Day's designs, just not stippling. As you practice, remember I am probably practicing too. Best wishes!

franc36 can I ask where you got your FMQ practice cloth. I think Leah Day sells one. Do you know of anywhere else to get them? I appreciate any help!

Right, how hard could it be? It looks so easy when you see someone else doing it. NOT! Like you say, it gives you a whole new appreciation for your LAQ.
