Fantastic! And great that the lady waited on you in a good mood. I was in one store and they started anouncing they would be closing about 45 min before they closed. We were all well aware that we were to be done and checked out by that time. So, kudos for them for serving you so well.

WOW, you truly are a super shopper and you got a nice haul for your efforts. My DH and I had gone "up North" to go on the Mount Washington boat on Winnepesauke Lake, but we didn't have much time before the boat sailed. I was given 15 minutes to shop, so it was a good thing I only needed background batik fabric for my Boston Commons quilt (which has yet to be started), but we got to the boat with plenty of time to spare. However, if we can ever go back, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll demand more than 15 min. LOL. Can't wait to see what you make with those wonderful fabrics.

The time my DH and I went to Zooks I just felt overcome with the amount of bolts of fabric and the friendliness of the staff. While we were there (5days) staying in that area I had a visit every day and I always came out with some more beautiful fabric. We also visited the shop in Bird in Hand and it was another experience such beautiful people to talk to. I hope some day to return to that area for holiday and no doubt a visit to the fabric shops. You sure did a great job.
