Me, too. I have many questions, but I never have to ask because there is always someone else that has already asked and it has been answered. I like the funny stuff, too.

Me too - a 'foreigner' from across the pond, lol. I've learned so much on here - downloaded patterns and links, got encouragement, questions asked and answered, learned new techniques (and improved old ones), my quilts admired and most of all - made friends. Thank you all.

Don't forget that we love the pictures of completed quilts, purses, table runners etc.

Ditto on what she said! As much as everyone has created on the board it fun to see the finished product. You have to be careful too. I don't go anywhere without cash and my debit card (not that I have so much money). You never know when you will comeacross something you never thought of having before and decide you "need it".

The only down side here is that I spend too much time here.

This is the the only 'thread" I follow! I don't need anymore as I always get the help or encouragement I need hereZZ! Everyone is so kind and a wealth of information. Well I do follow a couple of Yahoo groups specified to my type of sewing machine but, I don't really get much help or information from them but to see what solutions they come up with for a problem with a specific machine. But I do LOVE this Board & tell everyone I know about it.

I can honestly say this is my first "go to" for questions, and i always get sound advice (and very quickly too). Yes, these people do bring a wealth of experience and generosity to us "newbies." be sure to share pictures when you get your projects finished. We love seeing the photos!
so true. Thanks
