Thank You, Thank You To All Who
Have posted about the Leah Day classes on the Craftsy site: she has changed my "Quilting Life" into a whole new experience!!!! Just seeing her quilting set-up was a eye-opener! I mimicked her table setup with this 4' adjustable height table I ordered online from Walmart. I just had to put some wood pieces under the legs and the height is absolutely perfect when set on the lowest notch. It has taken so much of the "Dreaded Drag" off the quilt and has made it so much easier to sew. The price was right up my alley. When I'm done with the quilting, it gets stored under the bed.
The supreme slider, boy that takes a lot of stress off the arms and shoulders.
The pinmoors, so much easier then the safety pins. This is the best price I have seen for the pinmoors if anyone is interested. Just go down the the very end of the page for the "Our color of choice option". I received orange and white, not fussy if it saves me money. http://www.pinmoor.com/order.html
The best thing I am learning from Leah is to be comfortable and not worry so much about mistakes. I love having so many choices of FMQ designs. I am working on my first quilt now and will post pics when it is done.
A very big THANK YOU to all who have posted about using Elmer's Glue to piece seams. OMG!!! What a difference!!!! I used it on the quilt I am now working on and all my seams were perfect! I have been with this board for quite a few years and there are so many tips I just never followed, you bet I am going to be more open to following them now. Keep them coming.
Just Thank You, Thank You for this wonderful community!!!

I just checked with my DH. He says the little adjustable tables that we bought from Lowes would be strong enough to hold my machine. I already have two craft tables (one 4' and one 6') in an "L" shape. I will try to put this little table in the "elbow" and I have one of those clear acrylic tables for my machine. Will report back if I'm successful. Have a nap quilt that I need to quilt. Been dreading the drag.
The little tables are very sturdy and when we bought them a few years ago, they were $20 each. We use them for all sorts of things like TV trays to eat on while watching TV. We have a laptop set up on one. I have a 12" X 18" cutting mat on one by my machine so I can swivel around to even up blocks while piecing.
Thank you so much for this info!

I did it! Yea!
I wound up putting some Masonite board that I had on the little table because the length was 2 inches to short for my machine. But it works and I did not have to buy anything - more money for fabric!
Thank you!
