I could have sworn I've seen one somewhere. I think it was a fan of some sort and not a Drunkards Path but I could be very wrong....

Anyone got a clue?

Yes, I think I do but it is 2:30 plus AM and I can't find it. Think of re arranging the usual fan quilt so the fans make "S" shapes and you'd be starting on the right path.

Sabre3of4, I'm still looking but it is pre-coffee and I still haven't found it. Isn't it something like this but curved?

You are right, I remember it to and it may be the way the fans were layed out. I remember it meandered. I have seen it a couple of times. I have even seen it recently somewhere.

Well, at least I'm not the only one who thought of this pattern!

See:

If you remove the sahing and rotate a couple of the blocks will that be about right?

Depending on block placement, a Snowball block alternating with a 9-patch will make a path.

Just in case this goes to the main site, scroll down to the Grandmother's fan and click for another set.

Yup, that is the one I was trying to find! The pieced section could also be one large piece if you want it really simple.
