Since everything about the latest quilt top is repro CW--I'd like to advise Mark on options for quilting--my quilter can do anything.

Has anyone researched this?

I have no clue, but I do like the quilt.
Can't wait to see what it looks like ALL done!
I'm sure Mark won't want to share it either lol

they used all kinds of quiling designs, from super elaborate to very plain & functional quilting. the fancier quilts they did featherd wreaths and stuff like that. Baptist fan was a pretty popular design. They did cross hatching, clam shells and of course the ever popular outline quilting too. If you go back and look at the old quilts, it is amazing the amount of quilting and the complexity of some of them.

cross hatch--is that smaller squares on a diagonal? That'd fit.

yes it is. I have seen them anywhere from 1/4 " to 2" apart. They usually had them pretty close together because their batting, as such, wasnt too stable.
