I just can't get over how fast things sell in the classified sections. A item was posted at 11:00 am and I looked at it
by 11:20 and it was already sold. It is wonderful for the seller but I'm kinda giving up on trying to buy something. I guess I'm just not quick enough.

If you look under "UNREAD TOPICS" , I think that you see them as soon as they are posted. . . .

20 mins. is actually a long time! Usually things sell here in an instant.

When I look through the Classified ; the posting show up about 2 hours after the person put the ad in. I check it at 8 a.m. and then again at 10 a.m. and there are new postings from 8 showing up; so everything has been picked through by then.

Correct: Unread Topics are topics that you yourself have not read.
Trust me, I've been bummed out more than once by not being quick on the uptake, but that's the nature of the internet. And we have what, 26 thousand users? Chances are things will go fast...

There are so many fabulous items in our classifieds...but you do have to check often so you can hopefully purchase what you want...now that members can only list 15 items per week the competion is fierce when the new listings come on for the week. There are so many of us and now such limited items available per week one must really be proactive about checking there as often as they can. The sellers trying to downsize their stash have wonderful fabrics at great prices so just go there often and hopefully you will be able to purchase the items you want. I understand why the rules were changed but that even makes it more imperative to keep up with your favorite sellers and when they post for the week.
