What a wonderful piece! And I loved the extra hints about the the basting spray (shower cap and goggles) and the tension on the sewing machine for FMQ!

Thanks for sharing that I have been there to and it is not good. Just go to bed with books on tapes on a MP3 player and enjoy someone reading you a bed time story. It takes forever because you have to keep starting it over each night and when you have finished it you have no idea what you read.

LOL...too funny. I do a lot of my quilting at 3 a.m. because I work night shift, so on my days off, I'm usually on the same night owl schedule.

That's why I never quilt in the middle of the night, it all seems just so right but in the light of the next day it isn't. I'm usually awake at that time and restrict my 'quilting' to hanging out here on the message board. May in Jersey

I went to bed last nite-real sleepy-then I pictured how I would free motion the quilt. Up til 5:10am. Should of got up and tried the FMQ.

May - right there with you - was debating whether to start but am so tired tonight from traveling that I decided to read messages instead! There is always tomorrow!
