I'm making an anniversary quilt for DD and her husband. Things have gone really well with this quilt. I'm really liking the way it's turned out. So I'm putting on the binding. Sewed it on. Looking good, no problems. Now I'm turning it over and stitching to the back. Everything's good till I get to the last corner. Somehow as I was trimming the extra seam allowance I cut the binding on that corner. That loud scream you heard coming from the western U.S. was me. Decided to take a break. Things will look better tomorrow. Thank goodness I have plenty of fabric to piece in another section of binding.

Things happen. Keeps us on our toes. Personally I don't need any help keeping on my toes, because I am busy stepping on someone else's toes.

It will be bettter tommorrow.

Make a label for that spot and embroidery the FOR and FROM on it, as large as it takes to cover the mistake, plus seam allowance. That's where most folks put the label anyway, on one corner of the back.

FIDDLE STICKS!! Sorry for the double send, I looked for it at first and thought I'd hit the wrong button.

Fiddle Sticks. ROFL. I used to say that all the time. SO funny. I, too, have had to get creative to cover a boo-boo. YOu aren't alone. I am sure tomorrow you will see things better. ♥♥
