I have 2 Kenmores one is 30 yrs old and still runs like a top my 2nd one I bought last year.
I like it because it has alot more bells and whistles than my old one.
I also have a Bernina that was gifted to me by a relative. I have not learned to use it yet so I dont have an opinion on it yet. I do know that getting parts and accessories are very pricey for the Bernina.

I haven't heard great feed back on that machine, but I haven't ever tried one.
