I am making some table runners with Thomas Kincade fabric that has a cottage scenery. I was wondering what kind of quilting design would I use on this? and what color of thread? of course it has many different colors - blues, greens, reds, etc. I didn't want to "cover up" or take away from the beautiful fabric. I haven't done any "fancy" quilting designs yet, just SID and X's so I need something simple! :)

Hi, I did a table topper with a scene like you described in gray thread. It was perfect, just blended in with whatever color it ran across! It was beautiful!
Will you please share where you found Thomas Kincade fabric?

I'll have to try that - thank you! Of all places, I found it at Walmart. Luckily I have one close to me that still carries fabric.

I bought the same fabric before my walmart discontinued their fabric department. I also bought it with a table runner in mind :) :)

I would love to see a pic of the fabric. I bet it's beautiful.

We still have a few Thomas Kinkade fabrics left, mostly the panel fabrics. I believe they are all out of print now. (They're by David Textiles.)
