Those pesky needle holes left when one does some "unsewing".

In an earlier life, (ie years ago) I used water and vinegar in a spray bottle to press seams with needle holes after removing a seam, and WOW the fabric was like "nbs" (never been sewn - no needle holes).

That was the good news, now the not so good news....I do not remember the ratio of vinegar to water....HELP

Can't find anything except "a little vinegar added to water". And I KNOW that doesn't help!

Mar 20, 2006 – Put a solution of 1/4 *white* vinegar and 3/4 water into a spray bottle.

Water alone will work just fine.

I would just wash and dry the finished quilt and be done. They go away.

steaming will also close the holes

I have never worried about them. If I unsew a seam, I usually will at least dry press the area. They just go away when I wash the quilt when I am done.
