I had posted that I needed one and I think I have found one...I received this message from

From: hobbykat1955 (all from/all to)
Subject: Rotary Cutting & Speed Piecing

Afternoon,
I got this response from Fiskars...I will head out to Joann's tomorrow just to ck on what I saw a couple of wks ago...I'm thinking it's probably the 12 inch.

Kathy,

Thank you for your inquiry. That product has been discontinued and there are no
plans to bring it back there are no online sources that I have been able to
find.

I bought mine several years ago at WalMart. Glad I got it before it was discontinued. I really like it.

I must have missed the first post on this as well. I knew they had discontinued the original 6" x 12" with orange and black lines....is this what you're discussing?

I swear I'd give an arm and a leg for another one!! I want the original one where the lines were VERY thin.

Anyone interested in selling one?

I think I have one still "brand new in the box" as well as one of the I think they're called shape cutters. I'm going to try to remember to look for both over the weekend. Seems like I don't know what I'm missing by not using them :) :)

I'm not familiar with the Fiskars rulers, but...
I've discovered the new "frosted" looking Omni-grid rulers..
LOVE them!!!
They make it soooo much easier to see the fabric edge - especially darks.

Thanks for the link. I saw Eleanor Burns using one of those on an old Quilt in a Day show but have never seen one anywhere else.
